Trip to Arizona

Last Tuesday my sister in law Kandi, my Clonazepam and myself left for Arizona. Let me explain the Clonazepam...I am deathly afraid to fly. My Dr. graciously called in a medication normally used for panic attacks..Thanks goodness!!

Most people that will be reading this blog already know that about 8 years ago my mom was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. It has been it very difficult for her to keep up with the "heavy" housework. My dad has done a wonderful job taking care of her and the house. However, mom asked Kandi and I to come out and organize the closets and do so extra cleaning. So that is what we did. It was truly a joy to give back to my mother...she has been a wonder mother over the years. I love her dearly and am very happy I was able to make the trip and help her out..

Hey Sarah. Glad you made it safely to Arizona. I'm afraid it would take something stronger than clonazepam to get me on a plane! Last time Troy and I flew...I fell apart and was crying my eyes out cause I thought we were going to crash! Never again I said. If you have some more free time you can head on over to my house with your totes in hand!!:) I know you made your parents happy that you could go out and help them. If that kind of stuff was left up to Troy alone I would hate to think what kind of disaster we would be in!:) Sure would love to see you all! Love, Jen

Sarah,
That's wonderful that you got to go out and Kandi and help your mom. I love those moments when we get to give back. It's a privilege, truly.
Please say hello to your parents from us when you talk to them next.
Love,
Melodie

Hey Sarah!
You and Kandi are the bomb! I know next time I'll get in on the fun. Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy days to invest in something that truly matters. My Mom always says that time spent with family is an investment for the future. Someday, your kids will remember your selflessness and honor you in the same way.
Love ya bunches!

Enjoyed your pictures...So sorry your dear Mom has that trial to deal with....how sweet of you all to go and help her! I am so glad to know that I am not the only one who doesn't like to fly...It has always made me nervous, even since I was a little girl! Sure is convenient though! Hope that you are having a good day...
