I just spoke to the surgeon. The surgery went great!!
They put 3 plates in his leg. He will not be able to put any weight on his leg for 3 months (please pray for me!!!) I really appreciate all the prayers, cards and messages that we have received. Most of all I appreciate God opening and closing all the appropriate doors. He certainly has been with us over the past few days. We want to learn what he wants to teach us from this! Love to all our family and friends....

So glad to hear the surgery went well. And we will be praying for both of you - I know it has been and will be really tough for awhile. Your attitude during difficult times has always been an inspiration to me. Wish I were there to bring you a meal or something, but I know our church - you'll be supported and helped almost more than you know what to do with. Love and miss you all!
So glad to know that he came through surgery fine, Praise the Lord!!! His poor leg! Ouch! His fall sounded very painful!! We will continue to hold y'all up in prayer!! I appreciate your sweet attitude during this difficult time! God bless and be with y'all!
